About VMA

The Vienna Academy of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (VMA) is one of Austria‘s leading conference & association management institutions in the health care field, providing leadership, guidance, headquarter facilities and staff to 40 medical associations and more than 35 conferences and meetings per year.

VMA was founded in 1924 and managed for many years by the Nobel laureate Julius Wagner-Jauregg, is a non-profit organisation with a board consisting exclusively of faculty members of the Vienna University School of Medicine.

The VMA has always been, and continues to be, a conference and association management organisation dedicated to serving the needs of the medical non-profit sector, due to our strong commitment to quality, service and value.

The VMA specialises in the meeting the needs of the health care field and has provided professional services to more than 900 national and international conferences in the past 50 years.
