Please note that a security check will be performed at the entrance of the Parliament. It will be mandatory to show an ID (i.e. Passport or ID card). Please do mind a possible delay at the security check.

Badges
Participants should collect name badges from the conference registration desks. You are kindly asked to wear your badge when entering the congress venue.

Coffee Breaks and Lunch
During the session breaks refreshments (coffee, tea, and water) and small lunch will be served free of charge to participants wearing name badges.

Currency
The official currency in Denmark is the Danish Crown (DKR). Link to a currency converter

Electricity Supply
220-240 V - 50Hz AC.

Emergencies
The emergency number for Danish police and medical assistance is "112."

GSM cell phone roaming
GSM cell/mobile phone roaming is available without any problems for all major international providers. It is advisable to inquire beforehand at your provider which roaming company in Denmark offers the cheapest tariffs.

Insurance
In registering for the EPPOSI 2007 workshop, participants agree that neither the organising committee nor the congress office assume any liability whatsoever. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements for health and travel insurance.

Taxis
Taxis in Copenhagen are fairly priced. In case you intend to pay by credit card, please inform the driver at the beginning of the ride.

Tipping
Tips are not obligatory, but they are welcome. The norm is 10-15%.

Travelling - Accessibility of the venue
Directions from the First Hotel Vesterbro to the Danish Parliament: Take a left when exiting the hotel to the bus station “Trommesalen/Vesterbrogade” (approx. 100m). Take Bus 26 at “Trommesalen/Vesterbrogade” towards “Langeliniekaj (Østmolen)”. Exit at “Christiansborg”, walk about 200 m to the main entrance. A map of the destination is available here. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Price of the ticket (2 Zones): 19.- DKR

From Copenhagen Central Station the following Buses stop at “Christiansborg”: 1A, 2A, 15 and 65E.

Travelling from and to Copenhagen Airport
Rail:
There are direct high-speed trains to Copenhagen Central Station (journey time: 12 minutes). The train station is situated in Terminal 3.
Taxi:
Taxis are readily available from ranks outside the Arrivals area of Terminals 1 and 3.
Bus:
Several buses, include bus nos.30, 250S and 500S, run from the airport to the city centre and beyond. Night bus no.96N runs from Terminal 3 to Rådhuspladsen. For more information visit Trafikinfo.
