friends, |
It is our great pleasure to announce that the
VIIIth Congress of the EANO will take place in Barcelona from
September 12 to 14, 2008 under the auspices of the Spanish Group
of NeuroOncology (GENO).
GENO was founded in 1999 under the multidisciplinary spirit
of EANO. The local organizing committee is already working hard
along with EANO to provide the best post-graduate course , at
the first day of the congress, and an attractive scientific
programme that will cover the most important topics of our field
in main symposia, meet-the expert sessions and keynote lectures.
As usual, the interdisciplinary spirit will be the basis of
the Congress. We invite colleagues from all the neurooncological
disciplines, such as basic sciences, neuropathology, neurology,
neurosurgery, neuroimaging, medical, pediatric, and radiation
oncology, and nurses to participate actively at the oral and
poster presentations.
The congress will take place in the "Palau de Congressos
de Catalunya", a modern, multipurpose building situated
in a smart area of Barcelona. Barcelona is a modern multicultural
city and the main exponent on the Catalan culture and heritage.
The city is known worldwide for its architecture, cuisine, and
most importantly, the way people from Barcelona enjoy life.
We hope you will take, at least, a glimpse of all these wonders
during the Congress.
